NYSOM intelligence products are derived from the CMS National Plan and Provider Enumeration System (NPPES) Registry, a publicly available federal database. While we employ rigorous data normalization and quality assurance processes, the underlying data is sourced from government registries that may contain errors, omissions, or delays.

Commercial signals, opportunity scores, and market analysis presented in NYSOM reports represent computational inferences based on available data patterns. These should not be treated as verified market facts or guaranteed business outcomes.

Protected Health Information (PHI)

NYSOM does not ingest, process, store, or transmit Protected Health Information (PHI) as defined by HIPAA. Our data sources are limited to publicly available provider and practice information. No patient data is used in any NYSOM intelligence product.

Data Provenance

NYSOM intelligence outputs are classified under our Evidence Standard: Verified Facts are derived directly from authoritative public registries; Derived Signals are computational inferences based on data patterns; AI Recommendations are model-generated suggestions. Every output carries its evidence classification so users can assess reliability.

Security

NYSOM employs encrypted data transmission (TLS), role-based access controls, session management via secure tokens, and audit logging. Customer-specific intelligence is isolated by organization. The platform architecture is designed to support future enterprise security requirements including SSO integration and enhanced audit controls.
